Donations
Every donation made to the HBTPA, no matter how big or small, helps to support our current objective of restoring the Hana Buddhist Temple to its original stature, as close as possible. In helping to safeguard our historical treasure, we will someday soon open the doors for community interaction and cultural appreciation.
Your support is vital to our continuation as a community resource. The Hana Buddhist Temple Preservation Association is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose Federal Employer ID number is 47-4568285. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Planned giving
Consider the HBTPA as a beneficiary in your financial estate planning. Planned gifts include charitable trusts, individual bequests, stocks, life insurance proceeds, real estate and more.
The HBTPA does not share personal information about our patrons to anyone for any purpose.
Volunteering
Volunteers and donors are the backbone of our organization. We recognize every in-kind service as a stepping stone to achieving our long term goals of restoration and preservation. We are in extreme gratitude to all who have given to the organization in a wide variety of ways. Our annual bon dance would not be possible without the services of our loyal volunteers. Volunteer opportunities include administrative work, social media networking, event planning and coordination, facility clean up and maintenance. At this time our current priority is carpentry and painting to complete a number of pending projects.
